Technical Program Manager
Contract: Initial 6 months
Location: Dublin
Our client a big 5 tech giant are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Quickly on-board to gain the accurate understanding of the Network Repair Workflows prioritized to be delivered before the end of H1 2025, by meeting different engineering stakeholders.
Coordinate the planning and document measures of success for the multiple workflows with engineers and technical leads.
Drive daily and weekly software delivery scheduling activities to meet the overall program’s H1 2025 objectives.
Diligently document meeting notes, actions, nuances and share on a timely basis (same day) after every team meeting to sustain shared understanding of solutions, blockers, progress and consensus.
Keep cross-functional partners, managers of engineers, informed and engaged by sharing regular updates and progress on the program.
Manage communication within and between stakeholders including engineering teams and other program partners including third parties.
Effectively communicate project statuses, identify potential risks and setbacks, and collaborate with cross-functional engineers in a virtual team, to develop mitigation strategies and successfully execute on these.
Ensure project delivery artifacts and regular updates are complete/current and available for partners, managers and leadership to read in advance status of presentation and review.
Supervise sprint cycle outputs run for partner teams. Ensure scope and expected deliverables have been defined, clear target dates are set and resource availability has been evaluated by managers.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Software Engineering and Network Engineering teams.
Strong Program/Project management experience.
Demonstrated track record driving and leading workflow automation programs at scale in other organizations.
Ability to multitask, track and report on multiple program workstreams.
Ability to create detailed use-case tracking documents.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated to drive and follow through on projects.
Experience building presentation materials, comfortable presenting to senior leaders.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
Desired Skills:
Prior experience of Data Centre and/or Network Operations.
Strong critical thinking skills, problem solving and organizational skills.
Proficiency in G-Suite/MS-Office applications.
PMP or Prince certification
