The Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor within General Adult Psychiatry in the General Adult Division Sandwell locality.
Main Duties of the Job
We are committed to improving mental health and managing the NHS National Service Framework for Mental Health, focusing on quality hospital/community-based services. We wish to recruit a Specialty Doctor within General Adult Psychiatry. The post-holder will provide services within Sandwell locality. You will work with a supportive multi-disciplinary team comprising Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Community Psychiatric Nurses, and Support Workers in both acute inpatient and community settings.
Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
You will play a major role in shaping the growth of the services and will work closely with other professionals. On a day-to-day basis, you will assess and handle a wide range of psychiatric disorders, developing and offering specialist therapeutic skills and services. You will gain experience of specialists within the services, with ample training and development.
You will have full GMC registration and ideally be Section 12 approved.
