An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Conveyancer/Executive to join a dynamic team in Wakefield. This role offers the chance to manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters, handling both freehold and leasehold transactions. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters from file opening to completion.
* Handle freehold and leasehold transactions with minimal supervision.
* Advise clients on legal matters and take detailed instructions.
* Prepare and obtain file documentation, ensuring accuracy throughout the process.
* Bill files and obtain payments due from clients and other parties.
* Provide delegated supervision to junior staff as required.
* Ensure compliance with firm procedures and accounts policies.
* Maintain legal knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry changes.
Key Skills and Experience:
* 2+ years of experience in a similar residential conveyancing role.
* Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing, with experience in both freehold and leasehold transactions.
* Proficient in Windows, Word, and Excel.
* Ability to communicate complex legal issues in a concise, customer-friendly manner.
* Excellent written and spoken English for handling client queries and preparing documentation.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
* A client-focused approach, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
