Description
Berkeley Commercial Developments Ltd (“BCD”) is part of the Berkeley Group PLC and is in charge of collecting ground rents on behalf of Berkeley Operating companies. The portfolio is due to significantly increase over the coming years and currently has 41,800 units.
We are looking for someone to collect and record ground rent income on behalf of Berkeley freehold owning companies also a third-party Investment Company. Whether you're experienced in business administration or looking for a role where you can transfer your skills, Berkeley offers training and development with potential study support.
The role
* Assisting with the billing, collection, and recording of ground rent payments.
* Handling leaseholder queries via phone and email.
* Processing card payments through Sagepay.
* Posting payments to leaseholder accounts.
* Managing mail-outs for invoices, reminders, and other communications.
* Liaising with Managing Agents, Solicitors, and Berkeley Operating Companies.
* Overseeing lease assignments and responding to solicitor enquiries.
* Uploading newly completed units onto the property management system.
Experience required
* You will be proactive, detail-focused, and able to work effectively within a team.
* Have strong IT skills and a working knowledge of credit control.
* Possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Has a confident and professional telephone manner.

The standard default full-time working hours in the office are 8am-5pm with core working hours 9am-4pm.
