Balfour Primary School is a vibrant and inclusive school, part of the Thrive Together School Alliance (TTSA), a small and exciting collaborative group of city-wide primary schools, a secondary school, and a specialist provision school. Located on the Surrenden Campus our extensive shared grounds include a Nature School for all children. We are a large, full and oversubscribed school, reflecting our strong reputation within the community.
The children and staff are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join us on a permanent basis leading a year group of three or four classes.
About the role
As a Class Teacher and Year Leader, you will:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons.
* Lead and manage a year group, ensuring consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the curriculum.
* Monitor and support the progress and development of children.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Provide a point of contact for your team and our families.
We require:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience in teaching and leadership roles.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development.
* A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in children's lives.
