TLTP are recruiting for a complex needs Teacher to teach in a specialist School in Redbridge.
This role involves teaching KS3 complex needs students.
This specialist school caters for secondary to post 16 with complex needs, PMLD or ASD and/or additional needs, situated in Redbridge.
This school specializes in supporting pupils through a personalized curriculum, appropriate support, and harnessing the very latest technology. They don't just help the pupils access the curriculum; they bring it alive for them.
As a result, their pupils thrive; they achieve a variety of qualifications and develop into confident, articulate, and ambitious young adults who are curious to further their knowledge and stretch themselves.
To apply, you will need to have QTS or QTLS and some SEN experience ideally.
The teacher will be responsible for the progress of all pupils in their specialism and coordinating the work of a team of SEN TAs while providing required direct teaching time to meet the needs of the class groups and pupils.
Teachers must look at pupils holistically and draw on a wide range of social care and teaching strategies to meet pupil needs, whilst promoting interest and ensuring the safety and well-being of pupils.
Delivering lessons that are pupil-focused and creative, according to an agreed timetable is essential.
Provide opportunities for pupils to experience/understand English subjects in a range of contexts.
Special needs Teachers will be required to be committed to the development of both yourself and the pupils in your class.
Special needs Teachers must have QTS or QTLS and be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multi-disciplinary classroom team.
They will need experience of taking the lead in your subject area and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for students.
Special needs Teachers require the ability to ensure that your pupils fulfill their potential and that you are ambitious in your expectations of them.
Special needs Teachers are required to possess a calm demeanor to maintain a sense of humor under pressure.
You must understand and be committed to safeguarding children.
