An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen to join our busy payroll team who are responsible for updating and maintaining the Council’s payroll records, including pension and tax returns. As a key player, you will ensure all payrolls are completed accurately, on time and required outputs are produced and delivered.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working within a busy payroll or similar department, have well developed customer service skills and the ability to work well under pressure whilst having the attention to detail.
Preferably the successful candidate would have experience of working within local government but not essential. In addition, experience of using the Council’s HR & Payroll system iTrent would be desirable although training will be provided.
This will be a part time (21 hours), temporary appointment to cover for maternity. This post is subject to the Council’s flexible working policies and is operated on a hybrid basis.
