Exciting new opportunity for an experienced all-rounder to join a very well established company based within easy reach of anywhere in mid-Cornwall! Trial Balance has been assigned by a long-standing client to source a sole-charge Finance Manager to look after the entire finance operation for Cornwall, in a role offering great autonomy.
Partnering very closely with operations staff in Cornwall, with a reporting line into head office finance, your role will be to oversee all financial and management reporting for the site, with specific responsibilities to include:
1. Management accounts preparation and provision of analysis of performance against KPIs and budget.
2. Business partnering with the local management team.
3. Budgeting and forecasting for the site, and liaising closely with the group to ensure integrity of the group forecast.
4. Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying and mitigating risks.
5. Supporting the year end audit process.
This role would suit a qualified ACCA or CIMA with a significant level of hands-on experience and strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders and operational staff, and you will need to have the credibility to work as a key member of the senior management team.
