This role is based in the UK and will be working on site in our UK based College.
In order to comply with our mandatory pre-employment checks, the successful candidate will be required to provide original identification documents in person to our UK based People Services Department.
This role is pro rata so the salary you will be receiving is £13,385 - £18,712.5 per annum for the Lecturer role, and £11,746.5 - £12,539 per annum for the Instructor Technician role.

Any offers of appointment will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly CRB), a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place (i.e. the College).
This role is classed as working within Regulated Activity. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. By applying for this position, you agree to an Enhanced DBS check in line with DBS regulations.

ESSENTIAL ATTAINMENTS FOR 50% LECTURER:
✓ A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent; NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Craft.
✓ Teacher Training Qualification or the willingness to undertake the courses required to gain this.
✓ Strong Administrative skills, including IT skills.
✓ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent qualification in Maths and English
✓ Relevant up to date industry experience
✓ Gas Certification and Water Regulations required or willingness to undertake the courses required to gain these.
✓ A willingness to undertake continuing professional development.
✓ In order to ensure our students are being taught the latest skills there is a requirement for Lecturers to maintain their CPD and update industry specific
skills on an annual basis.
ESSENTIAL ATTAINMENTS FOR 50% INSTRUCTOR TECHNICIAN:
✓ Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in plumbing studies.
✓ Teacher Training Qualification or the willingness to undertake the courses required to gain this.
✓ Strong Administrative skills, including IT skills.
✓ A willingness to undertake continuing professionaldevelopment.
✓ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent qualification in Maths and English
✓ Relevant up to date Demonstrable experience in the subject specialism being delivered.
✓ Previous experience of delivering classes would be an advantage.
✓ Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
✓ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
✓ Assessor award A1, or equivalent, or a willingness to complete the award within 6 months of appointment.
