Role / Team Overview: The Markets Shared Controls Group (SCG) supports the Markets business globally through efficient execution of controls across regions, products, and risk categories. Our global team is integral to the Citi Markets organization, offering meaningful careers and working toward global objectives. This role involves interacting with business management teams and support partners to address control gaps efficiently. Team members escalate, investigate, and remediate issues identified through control processes. Responsibilities: Liaise with front office contacts and maintain relationships with internal business partners. Identify and propose solutions for optimizing and streamlining processes. Assess risks in business decisions to safeguard Citigroup and comply with applicable laws. Collaborate with various businesses across Markets to achieve organizational goals. Monitor controls and escalate issues promptly as part of a global team. Develop communication materials for diverse audiences, including stakeholders and management. Assist in special projects and technology enhancements. Act as the main contact for time-sensitive issues. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required. Strong influence management and relationship skills. Significant experience in Business Risk & Controls. Knowledge of global markets traded products and related control principles is a positive. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
