We're looking for a caring and dedicated Autism Support Assistant to join the team at a vibrant school in Islington Position : Autism Support Assistant Location : Islington, North London Start Date : Immediate to July 2025 Hours : Full-time, Monday to Friday Autism Support Assistant | What You’ll Do: Provide one-on-one support to students with autism, helping them thrive in a school environment Assist in implementing individual learning plans (IEPs) and sensory strategies Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere Foster social and communication skills through structured activities and play Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents Autism Support Assistant | What We’re Looking For: Experience working with children with autism or other special educational needs (SEN) A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships A passion for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Autism Support Assistant | Why Join Us?
