Land Surveyor Job Description

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our projects, ensuring precise measurements and data collection to support our client's construction and development efforts.
Key Responsibilities of the Land Surveyor
1. Land Surveying: Conduct land surveys using precision surveying equipment and technology to establish accurate surveys of topographic features and construction reference points.
2. Data Collection: Accurately collect and record field data, measurements, and survey results. Ensure data integrity and organisation.
3. Data Processing: Create detailed survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD or other relevant software, illustrating recorded details.
4. Support: Collaborate with clients and the office to provide survey support.
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
Qualifications
1. Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
2. 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful projects.
3. Proficiency with land surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
4. Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and standards.
5. Full UK Drivers Licence.
6. Ability to work independently.
7. Flexible with shift patterns, including night work.
