This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring the smooth operation of transport logistics within the waste management sector. Day-to-day of the role: Coordinate and manage daily transport schedules to ensure timely and efficient waste collection and disposal. Monitor and track vehicle movements using GPS systems to ensure compliance with schedules and routes. Communicate effectively with drivers and other logistics staff to address any issues or changes in the schedule. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other compliance documentation. Assist in route planning and optimization to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs. Handle administrative tasks related to transport, including invoicing, permit applications, and compliance with environmental regulations.
