Applications are invited for the position of a Property Maintenance person. The role will require a broad range of skills required to ensure that the hotel public spaces, rooms and grounds, plus a number of self catering and staff properties are kept in good order.
Clachaig Inn has 23 hotel bedrooms along with 4 self catering chalets and 2 staff accommodation units on site, plus grounds to include public parking and a play area. In addition, there are a number of self catering and additional staff accommodation properties in the local area, with associated grounds & gardens.
The key role is to ensure that all the properties are maintained in good order.
A 'jack of all trades' set of skills is required, and regular tasks will include such as:
routine maintenance of the properties
basic joinery
fire safety and other statutory checks including rigorously documenting such
small plant & machinery checks and repair
minor plumbing works
minor decorating & cosmetic repairs
The role is offered as full time / 40 hours per week.
