Plumber
Location: Maidstone, Dartford
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
As a Plumber within our Kent and Medway branch, you will be part of a local team undertaking high standard Plumbing repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best-in-class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards.
* You will have a certified core trade in support of completing repair/refurbishment works on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed standard operating procedures.
* Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters.
* Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilizing a handheld device (PDA).
* Keep all supplied company assets in good condition in line with the company policies and report to your Supervisor/Manager where damages occur.
* Utilize existing stock or collect materials as and when required to meet works order requirements.
* Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required.
There is an expectation that candidates will need to undertake out-of-hours duties, which will be Monday evening to Monday morning every 4 weeks.
Role Criteria:
* Plumber – domestic and commercial experience
* City & Guilds or equivalent in Plumbing trade discipline.
* Experience in Plumbing trade environment.
* Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience working in NHS or prisons environments would be ideal but not essential
