What you will do:
1. Deliver high standards of mental health nursing care in accordance with trust policies and procedures.
2. Support individuals experiencing mental health conditions, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being.
3. Administer medication, monitor effects, and provide accurate documentation.
4. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and social workers.
5. Conduct risk assessments and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
6. Respond effectively to mental health crises, providing compassionate and professional interventions.
7. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in line with NHS standards.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with valid NMC registration.
2. Experience working in mental health settings, preferably within the NHS.
3. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different clinical environments.
5. A compassionate, patient-centred approach to care.
6. Previous experience in crisis intervention or acute mental health settings.
7. Training in de-escalation techniques and safeguarding.
