Green Building Renewables is a network of local experts with over 20 years’ experience of installing low-carbon and renewable technologies. GBR installs a range of products including air and ground source heat pumps, underfloor heating, solar PV, EV charging, and battery storage.
Job Overview
The Renewable Heating Engineer is responsible for installing and commissioning renewable heating systems and associated products. This individual will have a high standard of work and be able to work both on their own and in a team environment. The Renewable Heating Engineer has the confidence to liaise with customers and communicate effectively – solving problems and challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate effectively with customers to explain how the products and systems work.
* Provide ongoing help and support as the work is carried out.
* Install heating systems and renewable products.
* Provide support to the team when required with planned work.
* Complete the necessary paperwork for each of the completed jobs, in a timely manner.
* Undertake training on new products and technologies in order to provide advice to customers with confidence.
Education & Qualifications
* 1 year experience of working in a customer service environment – Essential
* 1 year experience of working in a plumbing role – Essential
* 1 year experience of working in a heating role – Essential
* Holds a full UK driving license – Essential
* Experience of working in the Renewable Energy sector – Desirable
* Experience of working in the construction sector – Desirable
* BPEC qualifications in heat pumps, unvented, water regulations, and part L – Desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
