Do you have prior experience as a Youth Worker?
Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate Youth Workers to support challenging behaviour in schools in and around Huddersfield.
Responsibilities:
1. Be a positive role model
2. Engage students into lessons
3. Develop strategies for children to cope
4. Build positive relationships
5. Encourage a positive learning environment
6. Support the teacher with behaviour management
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
2. Spent three months or more in the country
3. Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply for one if applicable
4. Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
5. Previous experience working with SEND children
