Job Duties And Qualifications Under direct supervision, a Technical Sales Consultant II provides technical support to sales representatives in a geographic area to assist sales efforts. He/she is responsible for providing thought leadership as it pertains to the technical aspects of proposed software/services solutions for each individual customer. Analyze the customer environment, discover and diagnose a system or business problem. Create and conduct product & solution presentations to customers. Work with the customer and internal teams to create detailed workflow solutions. Provide solution recommendations to customers via white board presentations, conference calls, live product demonstrations and webinars. Develop relationships with customers and vendors to better understand customer needs and expand the reach of possible solutions. This position is considered senior technical sales in the application of product, equipment and solutions for an assigned PSL. Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in a related Science discipline (discipline may vary by domain) and a minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in the energy software industry. Required Technical Expertise (Well Construction Position) Demonstrated expertise in drilling operations, Landmark solutions, and digital technologies. Must be proficient in Landmark EDT applications, digital well solutions, and possess a deep understanding of drilling and completions processes, digitalization, and automation. Proficiency in real-time data analysis, monitoring center operations, and drilling data management techniques. Ability to integrate information from various sources for optimized well performance. Demonstrated knowledge of industry-standard software applications relevant to well planning, operations, real-time monitoring, and well data management. Required Required Technical Expertise (Production & Reservoir Modeling position) Strong understanding of reservoir and production digitalization/automation, data management/KPIs/workflows, advanced data analytics/data science, and the application of digital technologies (Cloud, EDGE, IoT, AI, Mixed Reality) to reservoir and production solutions. Software Proficiency: Proven experience in well modeling, nodal analysis, numerical reservoir simulation, integrated asset models, and production planning/surveillance/optimization using commercial software solutions. Minimum BSc in Engineering (preferably Petroleum or Mechanical), with Oil & Gas industry experience in reservoir engineering and/or production operations.
