Job Title: Electrical Installation Lecturer (Level 3)

Salary: £24,051 - £47,333 - per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Installation Lecturer within the Building Services department at Cardiff and Vale College. This role will be based across all sites.
Responsibilities include:
1. Undertaking all educational work such as classroom teaching (which includes workshop etc.), tutorial work associated with outreach, residential and open and distance learning courses and student placements;
2. Undertaking all organisational and administrative work associated with the above, preparation and marking;
3. Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;
4. Involvement in marketing, i.e. identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials, publicity and public relations;
5. Assisting in monitoring and tracking of student progress and entitlement to learning support provision;
6. Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
Minimum Requirements:
At least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one, an Assessor Award and a Verifier Award or a willingness to work towards them, and proven experience in the field of Electrical Installation.
