Here at Purovets, we are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for those seeking to advance their veterinary career. Our client, a RCVS accredited small animal practice in Romford, East London, is looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team.
The practice is conveniently located for easy access to the M25 and excellent transport links into Central London. With a history of providing affordable, high-quality care, our client has earned a loyal client base and a stellar reputation in the local community.
The practice is expanding and currently comprises 2 Vets, 2 RVNs, 1 student nurse, and 1 veterinary care assistant. One of the Vets has a strong interest in veterinary medicine with a particular focus on surgery, having recently completed a surgical certificate. The team's other interests include rabbits, geriatric patients, and dentistry.
The clinic handles a wide variety of small animal cases and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, an In-house laboratory, Dentistry, Haematology, Ear Surgery, and separate cat and dog wards.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, approachable, and passionate about veterinary care. Our client is looking for someone who enjoys mentoring and supporting vets and nurses, as well as being actively involved in the day-to-day management of the practice. Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients and clients is a key aspect of this role, as the team takes great pride in their community connections.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 4 day week
• 1 week day off each week
