8.30am until 5pm Monday – Thursday
8.30am until 4.30pm on Friday
Based at St Albans Campus.
Are you passionate about developing future leaders in Business Administration, Team Leading, and Management? Oaklands College is seeking an experienced Senior Apprenticeship Trainer & Skills Coach to join our Apprenticeships and Work-Based Learning team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the professional growth of apprentices, helping them build the skills, knowledge, and behaviours they need to excel in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality training and coaching in Business Admin, Team Leading, and Level 5 Management through various methods, including face-to-face and online.
2. Provide tailored learning and engaging workshops to meet apprentices’ individual needs and prepare them for end-point assessments.
3. Conduct regular progress reviews with apprentices and employers, setting targets and ensuring timely completion.
4. Collaborate with employers to create a supportive learning environment, enhance workplace training, and maintain strong relationships.
5. Ensure quality assurance and compliance with college and regulatory standards, including participation in audits and inspections.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Holds at least a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification.
2. Proven experience in training and coaching within an apprenticeship or educational setting.
3. Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, assessment requirements, and end-point assessments.
4. Exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Relevant teaching or assessor qualifications (e.g., PTLLS, A1 Assessor Award, TAQA) and experience with e-portfolio systems are desirable.
