To fulfil cleanliness duties for Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust across various locations on the Isle of Wight. To work as an integral part of the team within the unit and support delivery of the clinical care by ensuring the wards are comfortable and safe. To maintain cleanliness standards across NHS locations in accordance with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021.
Main duties of the job
1. Contribute to the homeliness of the wards on a seasonal basis and set own projects. Innovation and initiative are encouraged to improve the role and its effectiveness within the multi-disciplinary team.
2. Carry out monitoring of service delivery relating to all aspects of cleaning, catering, linen and the patient's environment. Set up robust quality control system for monitoring the domestic and catering contracts/service level agreements.
3. Develop and maintain effective communication with the catering department regarding patient numbers, menu ordering, queries and complaints. Ensure menus are prepared and distributed on the wards. Monitor food wastage and temperature probe recordings and presentation.

Qualifications
* Literate & Numerate
* Have an understanding of basic computer skills
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

* To have the ability to deal with Service Users and members of the public on the unit
* Good organisational skills
