Britannia Education Trust is a dynamic, recently formed trust in London’s Docklands with two 2FE primary schools. Britannia Village Primary School is a very popular, well established school and Royal Wharf is an equally popular, oversubscribed, brand new school, in an award winning building. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivational leader who will commit long term to the school and be ambitious for its staff and students as it continues to expand to include pupils up to Year 6 by 2025. You will be someone with a track record of leading school improvement to secure high standards in teaching and learning, ideally with experience in inner-city, multicultural areas. You will have a sound understanding of the social, economic and educational challenges faced by inner city children and families and experience in building positive and trusting relationships with parents and carers. You will be a team player who can inspire and motivate a team of leaders, teachers and support staff to secure the highest standards, building upon an established teaching and learning culture. Your focus will be to ensure all children make rapid progress and are supported and nurtured to achieve their very best as they participate in the Trust’s shared creative curriculum. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also have input into the strategic direction of the whole Trust.
