The main purpose of this role is: To provide overall leadership and strategic direction for an allocated cohort To track attendance and punctuality across the year group providing students & parents support where needed To support the implementation of the school’s centralised behaviour policy to secure outstanding behaviour for learning including stepped consequences and positive recognition To support student wellbeing across the cohort To plan early intervention to ensure all students in the year group make outstanding progress To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure students receive effective support To build positive and effective relationships with parents Line management of a Deputy Head of Year and leading a tutor team We have exceptional standards for all the students in our care as we believe every child has the right to a transformational education.
