Qualified Dental Nurse

Full Time or Part Time - Maternity Cover for at least 12 months
Join our dynamic team at Hall & Smith Kendal, a practice located close on the doorstep of Lake District with picturesque views, and lots of activities for evenings and weekends. Our lovely team includes highly experienced dentists and 2 head nurses all supported by a practice manager with GDC registration and a remarkable 31-year tenure. Our practice offers a range of services including a mix of NHS and Private and Denplan. 4 days of Hygienist access and a wellestablished patient base, with excellent attendance. As a Dental Nurse, you’ll play a key role looking after every patient and supporting your dentist. With your understanding of Private, NHS and UDA treatments, together with your knowledge of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities, you’ll set the highest standards for your team and your patients.

11. Understand the importance of teamwork within the surgery and how you can work effectively to support the dentists
12. Possess excellent organisational and influencing skills, using these to ensure that the practice delivers effective care
13. Understand Private and NHS dentistry – supporting offering treatment options to patients and how you can best drive surgery efficiency and help the practice performance goals
14. Sharing your knowledge and being a role model to any Trainee/Apprentice Nurses within your practice, buddying them through their initial induction and acting as an extra support as they learn
15. Demonstrating your full understanding of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities
16. Embrace the importance of your own CPD and ongoing professional development
