Job Description United Living Infrastructure Services is looking for two new Project Directors to join it's Energy division. In this role you will be accountable for for the leadership of a defined area/market within the Business Unit, by developing and delivering a strategy for sustainable profitable growth from a strong customer base within the agreed BU sphere of operations. Specific Responsibilities Supporting the delivery of the corporate and business strategy, growth and business plan for the Business unit including geographical growth. Deliver the approved annual PBT targets and cash performance within the business plan agreed with Managing Director. Assume Key Account responsibilities for key customers and suppliers identified within the business strategy and maintain high levels of engagement. Manage resource across the portfolio and contribute to successful resourcing across the wider Business ensuring upskilling and development of personnel to meet the growth of the Business Unit. Manage a number of Contract Managers and subsequently Project Managers to ensure the successful completion of projects against budget. Work alongside and provide direct support to the commercial team to ensure control of costs and to manage the P&L to agreed margins. To lead, manage and support operational teams during the whole project life cycle both pre and post contract. Monthly reporting of portfolio progress to Director level. Maintain visibility across projects ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality are achieved in line with the Health, Safety & Quality Management System. Support for bidding strategy and pricing within the Business unit to ensure profitable growth in line with delegated authorities for sign off. Champion Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability performance within the Business Unit and amongst supply chain partners Champion continuous improvement of delivery and professional standards in achieving Operational excellence and supply chain management. Develop the capability and careers of the people in their Business Unit to meet the business requirements of right quantity, right quality, right skills, right time. To encourage and promote innovation within Operations that supports the continual enhancement of the Business Unit performance. Effective team leadership and communication – managing monitoring and coaching line managers by being in regular contact with each area and ensuring that information is communicated throughout the business unit. Qualifications Proven track record of leadership in senior position running multiple work packages and creating successful teams A track record of developing and delivering profitable growth in the Utilities sector. Proven experience of high-pressure gas schemes will be advantageous. Experience of large complex schemes. Knowledge of mechanical and civil engineering challenges.
