Requirements:
- We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in IT Asset Management, including both Hardware and Software Asset Management. You should have a strong working knowledge of ITIL best practices, particularly in Operational Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM). Experience with asset discovery tools and associated data management platforms, as well as Configuration Management strategy and policy, is essential. A good understanding of financial and legal aspects, alongside strong business planning and budget management skills, is required. Excellent leadership and communication skills are vital to effectively manage and inspire a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, I will expect you to drive and implement best practices for IT Asset Management (ITAM) to ensure optimal performance and compliance. You will manage and report on the license compliance position of Capita's software estate, addressing compliance issues and optimizing our investment in third-party software. Additionally, you will oversee the identification and reporting of Capita's hardware asset estate, working to minimize and control compliance and cost risks for Capita's technology asset estate. You will guide and lead on ITAM best practices across Capita and collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to execute our strategies. Furthermore, you will inherit and lead a technical and support services team that enables all functions of enterprise IT Asset Management for Capita's 41,000 employees and enterprise clients.
