Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)
Telent is seeking a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting team in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.
If you have electrical installation knowledge or experience, hold an Electrical Engineering diploma/certificate, and are eager to start a new career with structured training, this opportunity is for you.
Join our engineering team to work with experienced Traffic Engineers installing, maintaining, and testing traffic signals and electrical components in Gloucestershire. Training includes on-the-job, desk-based, and online learning, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations and sector certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Ideal candidates are interested in field-based engineering, with some exposure to electrical installations or a related college course. Enthusiasm to learn and problem-solving skills are essential.
Key requirements include:
