We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as an IT Technician within our growing IT Team. In a nutshell you will be responsible for: The IT Technician is responsible for supporting all aspects of IT infrastructure, from user helpdesk to network operations, including troubleshooting, implementing new systems, and ensuring user satisfaction for Aqualisa users and potentially the wider Fortune Brands team. The role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure, supporting both on-site and remote users. What you are already great at: Helpdesk management including Triage, delegation & escalation to the correct IT Team/Member. Supports all IT Infrastructure/Network & operations across the EMEAA businesses. Asset Management Including building of IT Equipment in line with requirements/standards. Documents all work according to standards and keeps existing documentation current. Participates in any infrastructure and applications' requirements and design sessions as/when required. Installing and maintaining hardware, operating systems, and software programs Troubleshooting and solving hardware, software, and connectivity issues Educating end-users about new systems For this role we would need you to demonstrate: Experience in Microsoft Server (Installation/Active Directory/Remote Administration/Configuration/Security) Foundation Level knowledge of Network Switching Fortinet Qualification Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11) Microsoft Office 365 Suite including MS Teams Strong Knowledge of VLAN’s, Fire walls, Fortinet, V-center, Backup solutions, Phone systems, Print Server, Anti-virus, Excellent teamwork, as IT systems involve many different professionals with different skill sets and levels of expertise. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions. Excellent listening skills to establish the issues that users are facing. The ability to multitask, as they may be working on multiple problems simultaneously. The ability to work well under pressure and remain calm when things go wrong. Two or more years of post-secondary education, preferably in Computer Science Two or more years’ experience in a similar role.
