Logistics Administrator
Burgess Hill, £23,795 - £26,500 p/a, Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, performance bonus scheme, store discounts, pension, free parking, reduced hours over Christmas.
The role:
We are delighted to be working with a fantastic local business who are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join their growing business. This is a team-driven environment offering a high quality and personal service to their clients, and this role will require someone that is adaptable, willing to learn, and be flexible towards the needs of the wider team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Ensure successful delivery of shipped parcels by managing Proof of Delivery (POD) processes.
2. Engage directly with clients and suppliers to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
3. Optimise shipping and company processes to maximise efficiency and service levels while minimising costs.
4. Oversee the movement of freight within one of the warehouses and manage documents relating to product storage and distribution.
Requirements:
It is essential that you have excellent communication and administration skills to carry out this role effectively. You will need to be comfortable working in both an office and warehouse and using various systems. You will need to drive and have your own mode of transport due to the rural location.
