This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm with an occasional evening event.
STYLE OF FOOD
Hot and cold breakfast, full lunch offer. Fresh food using fresh ingredients. Deli offer. Everything is made at site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all food production
2. Cater to the needs of all customers
3. Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to assist and manage a team
4. Deliver consistent food standards following the Wilson Vale brand standards.
5. Deliver fresh, seasonal and innovative food from around the world to all customers
6. Responsible for food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety both in practice and keeping relevant records
7. Allergy reporting and responsibility for sign-posting to customers
8. Budgeting, ordering, stock taking
9. Training
10. Responsible for a team of 3 people
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
11. LOVE food, and love working in a team.
12. Have experience of working with fresh food
13. Positive attitude
14. Have good customer service skills and strong communication skills.
15. Be able to work in a high-pressured environment and remain calm.
16. Strong premium hospitality experience in another venue
17. Local knowledge and experience working in the area
18. A passion for exceptional service is essential
19. Strong understanding of service styles, food trends
20. Innovation and creativity
