We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Coventry area. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Prepare students for GCSE exams through structured teaching and targeted support

Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods accordingly
*
Create a classroom environment that promotes a love for literature, writing, and critical thinking
*
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
Required Experience
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Proven experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
*
Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to inclusive education
*
Excellent communication, planning, and behaviour management skills
