A bit about what you will do The Director of Food and Beverage in our luxurious hotel is the strategic business leader overseeing all Food and Beverage operations, focusing on developing departmental strategies to achieve hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control and guest satisfaction. Monitor the divisions performance and service standards by analysing of guest feedback and financial results, and initiate corrective action as needed. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Prepare and monitor the annual Food and Beverage operating budget, with a focus on controlling expenses and ensure targets and objectives are met. Ensure the security of all credit and financial transactions across the outlets, continually reviewing and adjusting procedures as necessary. Identify opportunities to increase profits and create value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation and driving necessary changes. Monitor and initiate social media activities to generate interest and increase revenues. Manage Food and Beverage marketing programs, and promotions, while monitoring local competitors and industry trends. Collaborate with other departments to identify additional sales opportunities that enhance revenue. Create an engaging environment for the team by motivating them through recognition, reward, training and development, with a strong focus on retention. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to manage conflict and improve performance. Ensure the Food and Beverage team is properly trained, certified and equipped to effectively carry out their responsibilities. Address guest concerns promptly and with empathy, solicit feedback and build relationships to continually improve guest satisfaction. More about you Strong leadership and motivational abilities. Approachable and positive manner with a can do attitude. A smart and professional appearance. Proven experience in a similar position within a 5-star hotel. Experienced in effectively managing large-scale weddings and events. Excellent standard of English, both written and spoken. Holder of an Alcohol License, Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Certificate. Hospitality Management degree or equivalent preferred. Experience of working with brand standards.
