The job itself
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Office Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of our school office and administrative systems. In this crucial role, you will contribute to the planning, development, and organisation of support service systems, procedures, and policies to meet the unique needs of our school and its pupils.
The working hours are up to 37 hours per week from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 37 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. The salary for this position is TEAL Associate Staff Payscale Scp18 to Scp20, which equates to an actual salary of between £26,367-£27,253 per annum, your actual pay point will be dependent on experience. Your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. We are looking for an individual who has:
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Substantial administration experience at a senior level.
* Excellent ICT skills and knowledge of databases.
* High level of attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
* Knowledge of the education sector and the unique challenges faced by Pupil Referral Units.
* Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the school's vision and values.
