This an exciting opportunity for a health care support workers to work in the busy main Outpatient 2 Department.
The successful candidate will be working across the two main outpatient departments on the Neath/Port Talbot site.
The two Outpatient departments provide nursing support to both medical s taff and patients for varied specialities .
The nursing team working closely with the clerical staff to ensure the smooth and professional running of both Outpatient departments.
The post will require working in both Outpatient departments within the Neath/Port Talbot Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for supervising a clinic area, carrying out point of care testing for clinics as an essential part of that team.
The post holder will be expected to hold the QCF level 2 qualification or equivalent.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will work both alongside registered nurses, fellow HCSW's and autonomously to provide a high standard of nursing support to medical staff and patients.
The role will require the post holder to carry out patient observations, assist medical staff with procedures and to carry out specific patient investigations such as point of care testing .
The successful candidate will be expected to independently manage clinics.
