Job summary We are seeking to appoint a full time, substantive Consultant with an interest in Lower Limb surgery to work within the directorate of Trauma and Orthopaedics. We welcome applications from eligible candidates across the full spectrum of experience, from those who are about to complete their specialist training to those who have established careers. Subspeciality interest in hip & knee arthroplasty is required. Experience in hip and knee revision arthroplasty would be advantageous. Main duties of the job We expect this person to help deliver and network the Orthopaedic service within Lancashire. This includes: Undertaking elective and fracture outpatient clinics Elective and trauma operating sessions Ward round duties and associated administration On call duties are currently 1:8 with a 2 tier cover on all days.
