Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for Housekeeping Assistants to join our team based in Oswestry. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working either 22.5 or 30 hours per week. In return, our Housekeeping Assistants will receive a competitive rate of £22,308 to £23,677 per annum (full time equivalent), based on experience.

About the Housekeeping Assistant Role:
Your role as Housekeeping Assistant will be to provide a hygienic environment in which families feel welcome and comfortable, maintaining the standards of cleanliness appropriate to the standards set by the organisation.
Your customer service, approachability, and flexibility will be important to your success, along with your technical knowledge and skills. You will be a reliable individual with high professional standards, capable of quickly integrating into the Hospitality team at Hope House. Flexibility in your approach to working hours and times, including rotational weekend working, is essential.
What we are looking for in a Housekeeping Assistant:
* To closely work alongside Care Team colleagues in the delivery of support to users and their families.
* Adopt a flexible approach to your daily duties as necessary, providing a seamless support service to the hospice.
* Ensure Infection Control measures are followed meticulously.
* Work positively and methodically as part of a small facilities team.
