Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Training Officer to join the team supporting our Services in the South. About the role As a Training Officer you will be organising and delivering training programmes through face-to-face or via the virtual platform methods, to meet the Branch and Business workforce development plans. You will be communicating at all levels, to ensure training needs are responded to and met within appropriate time-scales throughout your region. You will support in the development of new training programmes that meet the Business objectives of comprehensive in-house training provisions and support in the improvement of existing training programmes as part of our continuous improvement philosophy. The Training Officer will also have the responsibly to maintain records of training delivery, write reports and participate in meetings as part of a team approach. The Training Officer will have the opportunity to undertake continuous professional development to improve performance in fulfilling this role and meeting the Business objectives. Skills and Qualifications required for the role Applicants for this position would benefit from holding a qualification in Learning & Development, and/or, a PTTLS / CTTLS or DTTLS teacher training/Level 3 qualification, however, if you do not hold any of these qualifications, but you have experience in training delivery (especially within the care sector), we will work with you to obtain your PTTLS/Level 3 qualification, as this is a minimum requirement for the Training Officer role. The successful candidate will have experience in training staff, organisation and administrative skills and demonstrate confidence in IT skills, including Word, Excel, and Power Point. You will have good attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. This role requires you to have a full clean driving License and access to a vehicle as travel is required for the role, including occasional overnight stays. As well as occasional travel to other regions when required.
