If you're passionate about football and have a keen eye for talent Duties and Responsibilities: Comply with the Scout’s code of conduct, ensuring compliance with the FA and EPPP rules and regulations Work as an integral member of the scouting network to identify players with the potential to represent BCFC Actively recruit across the development phases in line with the Emerging Talent strategy, succession plan, and target areas/positions Develop and maintain key relationships within grassroots clubs, private coaching organisations, schools, districts, county, and international associations Watch and report on Academy and grassroots games, school games, and private coaching organisations Ensure all relevant reporting documentation is completed correctly and on time before reaching the Head of Emerging Talent Support the Emerging Talent Department during Talent ID programme events such as festivals and trial events Liaise with the Lead Scouts, FT Emerging Talent Staff, and Head of Emerging Talent to discuss findings as necessary Prepare detailed player reports to support the successful signing of identified players and submit onto relevant platforms Be aware of the YD rules and requirements relating to all development phases Carry out any other duties as assigned/delegated by the Head of Emerging Talent in connection with the Club’s business What we're looking for in you: Essential Requirements: FA Level 1 Talent ID FA Safeguarding Valid Driving License Desirable Requirements: FA Level 2 Talent ID Skills & Abilities: Computer literate Attention to detail Highly organised Strong verbal & written skills Ability to contribute to internal & external networks Ability to apply & share knowledge when appropriate Personal Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills Ability to work within a team and foster good working relationships Knowledgeable Trustworthy Enthusiastic Support the Club’s vision and values at all times Terms of Appointment: £8,400 per annum Employment benefits including Pension Scheme and Life Assurance Holiday entitlement Probation period to successfully complete and pass Special Conditions: Applicants will be required to undertake a DBS check (previously a CRB check) Employment offer will be subject to a medical clearance process At BCFC, we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
