Sysco GB (whose UK operating companies include Brakes, Fresh Direct, KFF & Medina), are leading an exciting transformation agenda and looking to recruit a Senior Change Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and driving organisational transformation and change initiatives whilst actively leading the enablement and embedding of the Sysco change framework to ensure our people change their ways of working, habits, behaviours and the processes they follow to achieve the desired business outcomes.
Reporting into the Sysco GB HR Director, you’ll be managing complex change projects, diagnosing change impacts and ensuring alignment with business goals. Supporting the organisation’s ability to adapt to new processes, technologies and cultural change whilst working closely with senior stakeholders across all functions of the organisation to ensure change initiatives are aligned to a fully loaded Sysco GB.
There are currently six main transformational programmes of work that ultimately transform the Sysco GB business through a period of growth. The Senior Change Manager is pivotal in liaising with those programme teams and sponsors, diagnosing the degree of change at numerous levels across people, process and systems, through frameworks and tools and presenting key change impacts and appropriate change interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create strong relationships with HR and PMO teams to provide an overall picture of change across Sysco GB to ensure we are managing the level and type of change effectively for regions, functions and colleague populations.
2. Ensure that the change initiatives are aligned with the expectations and goals of key stakeholders, including senior leadership.
3. Identify and facilitate the necessary resources, including budget, people, and tools, required for change initiatives.
4. Support in delivering change on the largest projects to ensure they are staying close to the “sharp end” and understand if the framework and approach is continually meeting business requirements.
5. Deployment and adherence to framework and tools into Sysco GB
6. Identify potential risks associated with the change, streamlining terminology and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Co-ordinate all change activity in GB, cross functionally.
8. Working with internal Communications teams, to engage and facilitate communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process.
9. Become the representative for Sysco GB at any European steering groups on change management.
10. Ensure that all change initiatives comply with relevant regulations, policies, and ethical standards
11. Monitor the progress of change initiatives, ensuring the change management approach continues to align with the project management approach to deliver transformation effectively, successfully and seamlessly.
12. Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders on the status of change initiatives.
13. Continuously reviewing the tools, templates, processes within the framework to ensure they evolve and continuously improve as we mature to deliver the required outcomes.
14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the organization.
15. Function as a role model and advocate for change within the organisation, encouraging others to embrace new ways of working.
About You:
You’ll have proven experience in a change management and organisational development role, ideally operating at leadership level. Experience and knowledge of managing large scale enterprise change initiatives in a global organisation is essential. With your experience, you’ll successfully embed the Change Framework across the organisation with a focus on positively changing mindsets, educating senior leaders and working closely with the PMO. You’ll demonstrate experience in end-to-end business transformation programmes in a multi facet and functional programmes environment as well as project management, with the ability to manage large multiple projects simultaneously. We’re looking for a change expert, who has the ability to think strategically and solve problems with a high level of flexibility, a proven record of leading others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable challenging leaders, managing conflict and remediating situations to drive alignment and a clear direction of travel whilst navigating and leading through ambiguity. Proficient in change management methodologies and tools ( ADKAR, Kotter etc).
