Job Description:
You will be responsible for providing safe, cost-effective delivery of high-quality customer service for bus public transport in your designated area, under the direction of your Service Delivery Manager (SDM). This includes assessing, monitoring, and managing bus transport services, staff recruitment, training, development, fleet and facilities presentation, as well as materials cost control and utilization to meet business needs. You will also assist the SDM in planning, organizing, and delivering business changes to transport services in your area, focusing on safety, customer service, and commerciality.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths, or at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
* Experience working in a trade unionized environment
* Experience in a first-line supervisory or management role
* Experience using Microsoft Office packages
* Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
* Full current driving license
