Description
As the Global Category Manager you will:
Review the current supply base and contracts in place, highlighting risk (contractual / capacity / supplier capability), driving improvements, and resourcing where necessary
Build close working relationships with Engineering, and Sales teams, engaging at the beginning of NPD processes. You will support supplier selection (against capability and capacity requirements), and manage risk upfront with robust contract negotiation
Develop processes to ensure current and future activities support a more efficient approach from source to contract, into BAU
Review new sourcing opportunities to build a more sustainable supply base (cost / political / environmental)
