Manheim Vehicle Solutions is an evolving business, supporting customer de-fleet and handover services. Working in the Mechanical workshops context of work will vary from servicing, to rectifying mechanical and electrical faults. As vehicles are continuously developing, the work we undertake is constantly changing, therefore training will be provided to keep up to date on all manufacturer developments. Team members are responsible for ensuring all customer defined requirements are delivered, ensuring operational and customer service excellence is achieved. Scope of Role: Carry out Manufacturer based services adhering to manufacturer specific requirements. Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs. Carry out basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics. Carry out a manufacturer supported training programme. Follow warranty processes for each manufacturer, whilst adhering to the correct level of repair. Able to use initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively. To be able to work as part of a team and an individual. Objectives for Role: Follow service processes, adhering to manufacturer guidelines. Following manufacturer processes in carrying out warranty repairs. Deliver work on time and to a high standard, managing individual workload, focusing on own efficiencies, and prioritising tasks to be achieved. Read and analyse data, understand simple mechanical and electrical faults and able to conclude on how to rectify these issues. Ensure continuous development, to work on changing products and to keep up to date with a changing market. Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of the department. Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload. Ability to provide a concise and legible write up of work carried out. Be willing and able to develop in line with manufacturer supported training. Be willing to follow manufacturer supported learning journey to gain manufacturer supported qualifications. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Must have a full UK driving Licence and held licence for a minimum of 12 months. Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working on motor vehicles. Trained to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 standards or the manufacturer equivalent level. Customer Brand Qualifications is desirable but not essential, and training will be provided. Basic understanding of EV vehicles – Training will be provided. Excellent communication. The ability to learn, read and analyse data. Able to use own initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively. Ability to adapt to new systems and able to adapt to an ever-changing product gaining knowledge through manufacture supported programmes and applying through practical application. Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of the department.
