Senior Project Manager Location: Carrington House, Carrington Field Street, Stockport, SK1 3JN Salary: £55,000 dependant on experience Hours: Full Time Job Type: Full time Contract Type: Permanent The Role We are currently recruiting for the position of Sr Project Manager. This role is key for the successful delivery of existing business and will further help us in seeking new business from existing clients. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project delivery from ITO to OTR of our partial discharge monitoring systems. Key Areas of Responsibility The key areas of responsibility for this role will include: Responsible for delivery of Project from Order receipt to site readiness for Installation and commissioning. Work closely with Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure customer-requested delivery timelines are met. Work closely with customers from KOM to the stage where the site is ready for the Service team of IPEC to carry out Installation and commissioning. Liaising directly with customers regarding test procedures and on-site planning / Work note approval Process. Work with the Service Manager to ensure smooth delivery of I&C schedules. Work with the Finance team on securing payments from customers as per Contract. Responsible for Contract delivery as per contract terms, Negotiating when needed. Track material margins, service margins and report project progress monthly to IPEC Management and prepare quarterly status reports for the IPEC Board of Directors. Oversee documentation of project work like project status reporting, risk log, I&C reports, drawings and lessons learnt. The Right Person Requirements The successful candidate will be willing to travel extensively overseas, engage directly with clients and offer proactive support. The successful candidate will have the following: Minimum 5 years of previous experience as a Project manager in a similar industry. Should have experience in Contract management. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with Global customers. Should have strong Project management experience in managing multiple contracts single time. Should know about cables, switchgear, transformers and rotating machines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with managing Data centre projects/Oil and Gas Projects is a plus. Able to self-manage workload and to work remotely for periods. Flexible and responsive in working patterns and hours, comfortable working independently. Strong sense of client relationships, customer services and support. Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time. Right to work in the UK.
