Overall Role Purpose
Responsible for registering and processing insurance claims related to customers' General Liability, motor, and property policies. This involves working with policyholders, brokers, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure claim validity. You will manage client inboxes, the portal, and OICP to ensure each new claim is processed within 1 business day. Additionally, you will process payments as necessary, manage diaries, instruct suppliers, and provide regular updates to clients. You will also assist the wider claims team with any other services required following an accident or incident.
Key Accountabilities
* Manage the OICP and MOJ portal for the team, ensuring all new claims are allocated and handlers are aware of submitted medical evidence.
* Manage client inboxes for new claims and correspondence.
* Liaise with adjusters and clients on claims not solely handled by the TPA team.
* Register injury claims with CACHE for the team.
* Assist with making payments when necessary.
* Help manage diaries and workload for claims handled by adjusters.
* Assist with pre-fixing post in the system.
* Use the designed IT system to view outstanding tasks and manage workload effectively.
Knowledge & Skills
* Liaising with adjusters, clients, and solicitors as needed.
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
