Field Care Supervisor - Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract
Hourly rate of pay: £13.10 - £15.75 per hour
Based in Gosport, Hampshire
Working Hours - 37.5 hours per week.
Days of work: 5 days per week between Monday to Sunday
About You
Do you have a passion for leading person-centred care? An exciting opportunity to join SCA Care as a Field Care Supervisor within our Specialist Care Team has arisen. We are looking for an experienced Care Supervisor or Senior Care Assistant with a QCF or NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care.
Applicants will ideally hold a full driving licence and have access to motorised transport due to commuting across locations within the working day, which is essential to be successful in this role. We offer full training, so you will need to commit to a fully paid training and induction.
About the Role
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for the ongoing field supervision of complex care support workers and will ensure that customer requirements are met whilst maintaining compliance of care in accordance with SCiA policies and procedures.
You will be required to carry out some office-based duties, assisting with the assessment, setup, and review of our customer’s needs on a regular basis, and check upon our staff team to certify effective delivery of safe, quality care to all our customers.
Ensuring that the customer receives the appropriate care package and that continuity of care is a priority.
* To work as a "hands-on" Specialist Care Support Worker, as and when necessary.
* To assist in auditing the standard of service delivered to our customers.
* Assist the Specialist Care service with inducting new care support staff to our workforce.
* Complete risk assessments and care plans for all packages of support.
* Ensure staff sickness absences are covered.
* Complete comprehensive spot checks in line with CQC regulations.
* Undertake face-to-face supervisions with support staff in line with CQC regulations.
* To assist the Specialist Care Office Team with supervisory paperwork and updates and keep them appraised of concerns and issues pertaining to new employees or current field staff.
