KPJ Group is recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a well-established, family-run engineering business in Chorley.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Programmer to work with a company known for manufacturing bespoke machinery for a wide variety of industries.
What’s on offer?
* £16.71 - £17.71 per hour
* Monday - Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm / Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
* Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
* 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a CNC Miller?
* Programming and operating HAAS or Heidenhain controlled CNC machinery
* Interpreting detailed engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts
* Selecting appropriate tooling and cutting strategies for various materials, including exotic alloys
* Ensuring all health, safety, and quality standards are maintained
* Collaborating with the team to meet production targets and deadlines
What do you need?
* Time-served with post-qualification experience in CNC programming and machining
* Proficiency in CAD programming software
* Experience in machining fabrications and working with different materials
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and work to precise specifications
* Experience with Fusion 360 programming software (desirable)
* Knowledge of CNC water jet or laser cutting, and CNC lathes (desirable)
* Forklift truck operator trained and a full UK driving licence (desirable)
