About the role
The UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library provides information support and information skills training for staff and students at the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health as well as NHS staff of Great Ormond Street Hospital, who comprise around half of the library's customers.
This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.
This is a full-time post.

This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
About you
We are looking for candidates who in particular have the following experience and skills:
1. Experience of interacting with customers in a frontline service environment, providing information in-person and online
2. Able to relate to a diverse range of colleagues and customers, understand their needs and provide an inclusive and supportive service.
3. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing common goals and taking responsibility for tasks when appropriate.
