Responsibilities: As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will: Offer one-on-one or small group support to students with SEMH needs. Help create a secure, supportive, and positive learning atmosphere. Assist students in effectively managing their emotions and behaviors. Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised education plans. Foster and support students' social, emotional, and academic growth. Requirements: As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you should have: Previous experience working with SEMH students or in a similar role is highly preferred. Patience, resilience, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by SEMH students. Ability to establish strong, supportive relationships with students. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children.
